Pablo Figueroa is a Spanish qualified lawyer and member of the Brussels bar, based in the Brussels office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Mr. Figueroa specialises in European antitrust law across a wide range of sectors, including telecommunications, finance, pharmaceuticals and distribution/retail, having worked recently as the lead associate in (i) two Phase II merger investigations before the European Commission involving unilateral, coordinated and vertical theories of harm, one of which included extensive discussions in relation to both behavioural and structural remedies and (ii) two appeals before the General Court of the European Union in relation to abuse of dominant position proceedings. He also has significant experience in Cartel law and General European law, in particular successfully challenging national laws and regulations as contrary to European law, and in EU pharmaceutical law as well as in Spanish Antitrust law and deriving litigation before the Spanish Courts including the Spanish Supreme Court and Constitutional Court.
