Hao Qian is an Associate Professor at China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing. Her research interests include competition law, administrative law and comparative law. During August 2007-November 2009, Hao Qian was dispatched to China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), first to the Anti-Monopoly Investigation Office and then to the newly established Anti-Monopoly Bureau. In her work with MOFCOM she participated in pre-notification consultations, reviewed merger notifications and conducted certain research that relates to drafting implementing rules of the Anti-Monopoly Law. Professor Hao has a bachelor’s degree from Yantai University, an L.L.M. from Beijing University, and a J.S.D from Yale Law School.
