Gianluca Faella is adjunct professor of Intellectual Property at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and of Law & Economics at Federico II – University of Naples, PhD in Law and Economics at Luiss Guido Carli (Rome) since 2005 and Senior Research Fellow at the Law & Economics Lab (Rome) since 2003. He was adjunct professor of Competition Law & Economics at Luiss Guido Carli (Rome) in the Academic Year 2011-2012, Research Fellow at Luiss Guido Carli in the period April 2008-March 2012 and Research Scholar at the New York Law School in 2005. He obtained an LL.M. degree in Competition Law & Economics from the Erasmus Universiteit of Rotterdam in 2003. He lectured on antitrust law, State aids and contract law issues in several master courses at the Università di Pisa, Università Tor Vergata of Rome, Luiss Guido Carli and Luiss Business School of Rome. Since 2005, he is an associate of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, resident in the Rome office. He focuses on EU and Italian competition law and regulation and assisted Italian and foreign companies in several proceedings before the European Commission, the Italian Competition Authority, the Italian Communications Authority and administrative and civil courts.
