Brian M. Bowman is a lawyer admitted to practice in the state of New York, U.S.A. Brian is currently a fellow at Wake Forest University’s Center for Energy, Environment and Sustainability. In this role, Brian focuses his research on the areas of energy, environmental and natural resources law. Brian’s recent work has examined the implications of legal and policy developments on conventional and alternative energy resources, regulatory response to the variable nature of renewable power production and the use of novel financing structures for facilitating the deployment of distributed renewable generation technologies. During his time in Belgium, Brian earned a Master of Laws from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and worked on competition law, as well as energy and environmental law matters at two international law firms in Brussels. In addition to his LL.M., Brian’s educational background includes a Juris Doctor from American University’s Washington College of Law, a Master of Science from Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Hofstra University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
